I steal from books, people, TV, The L.A. Times…
-Saw a psychiatrist about it,
lifted “subconscious” from him…
-My friend gave me some advice,
I thanked him & surreptitiously
put “retrospect” in a mental pocket.
-I don’t know what to do about it…
I’m an honest person, I swear,
it’s just that words…
