-Hi! I’m a poem
being born.

-Before ‘Hi!’
I was, like, nada…
now here I am
six lines old!

-Should I be casual?
mystic? mysterious,
or what?

-Incisive? exclusive?
smart-alecky? moronic?

-Or just be glad to be
a premature-baby poem?
