ACT ONE – SCENE FOUR
-The battle rages on…
Captain McEvil’s battalion
has the advantage
over Commander Bueno’s rebels,
who are dug in & surrounded.
-The general pops open a bottle of champagne
to hail the impending victory…
Commander Bueno contemplates
doing the “honorable thing”
but is kept from doing it
by a firing squad.
ACT THREE – SCENE SEVENTEEN (finale)
-Don Fettuccini assembles
everyone in the grand ballroom,
asks them to join him
in a song to life,
in a spirit of love
& understanding…
-Ana Maria confesses her infidelity
to Rigatoni, who promptly kills her,
then forgives her…
-Gossippina, the town beldam,
spreads a few rumors…
all join in a chorus of
“Viva la pasta!”
-The large lady sings.
