THE TRIAL – by Luís Kafka
Poem, you’re accused of prosetizing
in disguise,
how do you plead?
-Not guilty, your honor!
A poem has a right
to deviate, obfuscate,
elevate, consummate,
castigate or extricate!
-I also believe
that for a poem to be free,
it must believe in itself,
from conception to birth,
to life and beyond…
-therefore I reject
all attempts at classifying,
falsifying, stupefying
and personifying
without clarifying,
so if I confuse the issue,
please hand me a tissue,
for I feel like…
(partying… stupid!)
