-Dark thoughts
kept me prisoner
inside myself,
but clear forces
broke through
in a daring rescue attempt…

-There were casualties –
pride remains were scattered
a*l*l o*v*e*r –
(some dreams had to be
put out of their misery…)

-But overall,
it was a great feeling…
I could rebuild
from among the ruins
of my own, private,
9/11.
