It’s a tough cookie this Earth,
take a bite at your own risk,
six billion & counting &
we keep on coming!

Life is like that,
it can do that,
sometimes you go
from verse to worse.
Kids living & dying
on the streets,
hospitals closing,
pinkslips,
body bags here,
body bags there,
body bags everywhere!

epidemics, helplessness,
fear & suffering…
