GOT YA!

How do you write,
do you keep a journal?
asked my poet friend.

-No, no, no!, I said…
I know you can’t see it
but I wear a Trap-A-Thought device
above my head,
any ideas flying within two feet…

-Zap!

-Poem fodder…
but no genetically-altered images,
only organic visions,
and of course, after their use,
returned to the wild.
