past the razor wire
of conformity.

Pandemonium!

made-up words,
four-letter words,
opposite-meaning words,
rap ‘n roll words.

The Adverb Patrol declares
a grammatical emergency.

“We’re being overrun
by renegade words…
set your phasers on erase,
fire when you see their vowels!”
