THE SHADOW MAKER

(’95)

– I make shadows for a living –
Business is usually good,
except on cloudy days.

– Long shadows are my specialty,,,
also broken-heart-shaped shadows,
& their companions,
silhouettes of lost loves.

– I offer a line of twilight shadows,,,
have to work fast on those
before they blend into the night…

– I have a special this week
on generic shadows,
buy one & a second one
will follow you around… for life.

– Need a shadow?
I’ll go anywhere…
I covered the entire country once
on a day in November, 1963.

– You’ll find me listed under various headings
in the dark pages of history.

Until forever!
