so that’s 36 possibilities right there,

I’d been living in Normal, Illinois,
moved to Same Old, Nebraska,
from there went to Play It Safe, Kansas,
then spent a couple of years
in Boring, West Virginia…
I finally said, ‘I think I’ll look up Crazy Life,
see what it feels like
to walk on the wild side,
in the shadows of
Lou Reed street.
