THE RAINS OF ’95
-Angry rain gods
on a rampage,
inches of sandbags,
miles of washed-out roads,
sink-holes & mud.
-After seven days,
no sound of thunder yet –
sliding hills don’t require
fanfare.
-When will it stop?
Hopefully
before the next earthquake.
